Dak Prescott Signed To Extension
4 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott have agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $160 million. Prescott will have a no-trade clause and a no-tag provision, with $126 million in guaranteed money. The move solidifies Prescott's role as the starting quarterback in Dallas, and getting an extension done rather than slapping the franchise tag on Prescott will ensure he's around for offseason workouts, which will matter more this year as Prescott tries to work his way back from an ankle injury that ended his 2020 season early. A healthy Prescott is a top-five fantasy quarterback who will help receivers Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and -- to a lesser extent -- Michael Gallup have strong 2021 campaigns. The only real question now is how Prescott's ankle is doing, but early indications are that he's ahead in his recovery.
