5 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is still expected to sign his franchise tender, with sources saying that the Andy Dalton deal is not related to Prescott still being unsigned. The franchise tender would pay Prescott roughly $31 million this season, but the two-time Pro Bowler hasn't signed yet because he wants a long-term deal. While the team said they signed Dalton as insurance and to add another veteran voice in the QB room, the team can pull the franchise offer from Prescott until he signs, though that scenario is unlikely. Prescott had a big 2019, throwing for over 4,900 yards and 30 touchdowns and should still be drafted as high as the third QB off the board for a loaded Cowboys offense.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
