Dak Prescott To Miss Two Months
2 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (thumb) is set to undergo surgery after suffering an injury during Sunday's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 29-year-old is set to undergo thumb surgery, which will sideline him 6-8 weeks. He'll reportedly have a pin and plate inserted to stabilize the joint in his thumb. The Cowboys have a bye week in Week 9, so Week 10 is sounding like the timetable for Prescott's return. In the meantime, Cooper Rush is set to be the starter. It's uncertain if the Cowboys will get another quarterback with Prescott sidelined. CeeDee Lamb, Ezekiel Elliott, and Dalton Schultz will all take significant hits in fantasy leagues with Prescott sidelined.
