6 years agoHouston Astros starter Dallas Keuchel was hit by the home run bug Tuesday night as the Mariners beat the Astros 7-1. Keuchel (3-8) made it through 6 2/3 innings but allowed seven earned runs, including the three long balls. Keuchel has had some tough luck at times, but this simply wasn't his best performance as the Astros now trail the Mariners in the division by two games. The left-hander has especially struggled getting left-handed hitters out this season, allowing a .269 batting average and two of the three home runs surrendered Tuesday against them. After a strong start to the season, Keuchel has been inconsistent his past four starts and now has an ERA of 4.13. The Astros rotation has been fantastic all season, but Keuchel has disappointed after dominating the league during the first half of 2017.--Joey C - RotoBaller
