Dalton Schultz Frustrated With Contract Talks
2 years agoDallas Cowboys franchise-tagged tight end Dalton Schultz is frustrated by the state of contract talks with the team and informed the Cowboys that he won't attend the rest of voluntary organized team activities as a result, according to sources. There's a chance he could skip the team's mandatory minicamp as well. Schultz already signed his franchise tender, locking him in at $10.931 million for the 2022 season if the two sides don't reach an extension by July 15. We expect something to get done. Schultz set career-highs in catches (78), receiving yards (808), touchdowns (eight) and targets (104) in 17 games (15 starts) in his fourth NFL season last year, and he should be heavily targeted in Dallas' passing game again this year with Amari Cooper no longer in town.
