2 years agoHouston Texans rookie running back Dameon Pierce is officially listed as the team's starting running back on their first official depth chart of the 2022 regular season. Behind Pierce are veteran Rex Burkhead, Dare Ogunbowale and Royce Freeman. Marlon Mack looked to finally be healthy after a serious Achilles injury he suffered two years ago, but he was surprisingly released. With Mack out of the picture, Pierce's fantasy stock shot up. Burkhead should still see plenty of work as a pass-catcher and change-of-pace option behind Pierce, but the 22-year-old rookie is easily the most fantasy relevant back in Houston. In Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts, he'll be an RB3/flex in fantasy lineups.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
