Damien Harris, Donte Moncrief Will Miss Sunday’s Game
4 years agoNew England Patriots running back Damien Harris (ankle) and wide receiver Donte Moncrief (thigh) have both been ruled out for Sunday's contest against Miami. The New England backfield continues to take its brunt of injury woes with Sony Michel now in line to lead the group against a stout Dolphins Defense in Week 15. Moncrief's absence leaves Damiere Byrd, Jakobi Meyers, and N'Keal Harry as the clear frontrunners to continue receiving targets from Cam Newton at the WR position. Harris has logged double-digit carries in each of the past eight games that he has appeared in, so there's reason to hold onto him in season-long leagues heading into a potential Week 16 meeting with Buffalo. With New England's offense seesawing in production on a weekly basis, the absence of Harris and Moncrief further throws the game plan into flux heading into Sunday.
