Damien Williams Dealing With Quad Injury
3 years agoChicago Bears running back Damien Williams (quad) suffered a quadriceps injury in Sunday's 24-14 win over the Detroit Lions. David Montgomery (knee) left the game early and did not return, so this is a situation to monitor if both players are unable to suit up in Week 5 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Khalil Herbert is the only other running back on the roster, so he could be the lead option in the backfield, which would put him in the flex discussion for fantasy managers. It is very likely the Bears would bring in another running back with some experience, so they could have some interest in Indianapolis Colts running back Marlon Mack if Montgomery and Williams both miss some time.
