Damien Williams Logs Full Practice Wednesday
3 years agoChicago Bears running back Damien Williams (quadriceps) practiced in full Wednesday. He suffered a thigh bruise in last Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions but is expected to go all systems go for Week 5 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Bears' No.1 running back David Montgomery (knee) will miss the next 4-5 weeks with a sprained left knee. This week, Williams was a popular pick-up in most fantasy leagues and should have an expanded role as Chicago's primary running back for the next four weeks. The 29-year-old has rushed for 73 yards on 16 attempts while catching 8-of-10 targets for 41 yards over four games in 2021. Williams is a strong RB2 against a Raiders defense that allows 132 rushing yards per game, good for 23rd overall in the league.
