3 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Damiere Byrd continues to add an inflection of speed to a Bears offense that desperately needs it. Chicago's offense struggled mightily last season and overhauled not just the quarterback position, but the wide receivers room. Byrd was signed in the offseason after spending last season with the Patriots and the Bears also brought in Marquise Goodwin. Byrd is competing for the WR3 role in the offense with Goodwin and expect to see the speedster on the field at times with backup Justin Fields when the preseason begins.--Joey C - RotoBaller
