D'Andre Swift Delivers 130 Rushing Yards In Week 10
3 years agoDetroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift carried the ball a career-high 33 times for 130 yards as the Lions tied the Steelers 16-16 in Week 10. With head coach Dan Campbell taking over play-calling duties, the Lions ran the ball 39 times for 229 rushing yards as a team. Swift delivered some hard-nosed runs on a rainy Pittsburgh day but ran out of steam as the game went on. Swift is clearly the Lions best offensive player despite the team getting both of their touchdowns on runs from rookie Jermar Jefferson (who left the game injured) and Godwin Igwebuike. Swift and the Lions will be on the hunt for their first victory of the season in Week 11 against the Browns.
