4 years agoDetroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift tallied only eight rushing yards, 15 receiving yards but had one touchdown in his NFL debut against the Bears in Week 1. Veteran Adrian Peterson was the lead back in this game and Swift did little with his scarce opportunities despite the goal-line score. His big chance came in the final seconds but he dropped a would-be game-winning touchdown pass from quarterback Matthew Stafford. Swift has plenty of talent but may need to ride the bench in Week 2 as a touchdown-dependent option who is fighting for touches with the resurgent Peterson.--Joey C - RotoBaller
