2 years agoColorado Rockies relief pitcher Daniel Bard didn't put together his best outing of the season versus the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday. The 37-year-old came into the ninth inning with a three-run lead. The right-hander loaded the bases with one out, but was able to escape with little damage. He notched his 24th save of the season and is posting a 2.16 ERA along the way. Fantasy managers should consider him a safe bet for saves as the primary closer in Colorado.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
