6 years agoMinnesota Vikings kicker Daniel Carlson is being released after going 0-for-3 on field goal attempts in Week 2. Carlson missed from 48-yards out in regulation, while shanking a 49-yarder and 35-yarder in overtime. The Vikings had spent a fifth-round pick on Carlson in the 2017 draft, but his inconsistency from the preseason spilled over into his regular season performance as well.
