4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Daniel Castano settled in after a rough first inning in Thursday night's game against the San Francisco Giants. In total, Castano ended up pitching five innings, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two. All three runs scored in the 3-0 game came around in the first inning. It wasn't a great start overall from the lefty, but it was impressive to see Castano keep his composure and keep his team in the game despite the bad inning right at the start. Castano is likely sticking in the rotation for a while, but his lack of swing-and-miss stuff doesn't make him a particularly attractive fantasy asset.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
