3 years agoThe Minnesota Twins have signed right-handed pitcher Daniel Gossett to a minor league deal. In two seasons with the Oakland Athletics from 2017-18, Gossett recorded a 5.91 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, 84 strikeouts and 39 walks in 115 2/3 innings over 23 starts. He spent the 2021 season at Triple-A Worcester in the Boston Red Sox organization and went 7-5 with a 4.22 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, 81 strikeouts and 46 walks in 98 innings pitched over 20 appearances (18 starts). The 29-year-old didn't pitch at all in the shortened 2020 season and only made five appearances in 2019 in the Arizona Fall League.
