7 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Daniel Gossett will draw the start on Wednesday against the Mariners, per MLB.com's Jane Lee. The A's have had to juggle their rotation recently with both Andrew Triggs (forearm) and Brett Anderson (shoulder) being placed on the disabled list. The young right-hander got knocked around in his two MLB starts this season, posting an ugly 11.05 ERA. However, he has posted a stellar 1.63 ERA in 38 2/3 innings pitched for Triple-A Nashville.
