3 years agoDaniel Hemric was the second Chevy to qualify in the top-five for the Wise Power 400 on Sunday. The Fontana course showed Hemric to be among the better drivers in practice just outside the top-ten (13th). The No. 16 car has speed but had even more come the qualifying session. He wound up just 0.359 seconds behind Austin Cindric. Hemric and Kaulig Racing has created a little intrigue with this result. The question becomes how does that translates to the race on Sunday. Hemric could be near the front a good bit even with a more "bumpy" race than usual. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
