5 years agoRichard Childress Racing rookie driver Daniel Hemric is scheduled to start from the third position in Sunday's Camping World 400 at Chicagoland Speedway. He has yet to make a start in a Cup car at the Illinois tri-oval, but he has recorded finishes of fourth and fifth in his two career starts in the Xfinity Series, good for a 4.5 Average-Finish Position. He and his teammate Austin Dillon occupy two of the first three starts in the starting grid, so it could be a nice afternoon for the RCR cars if they can avoid early trouble.--Daniel Dobish
