6 years agoRichard Childress Racing's Daniel Hemric posted a 191.436 mph best speed during qualifying and he will go off fifth in Sunday's GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. The rookie has been decent in qualifying on a few occasions so far, going off fifth at Vegas, seventh in Texas and 11th in Phoenix. However, he has finished 18th or lower in each of his nine starts so far this season, including a 23rd-place run at LVMS after his best qualifying effort, and he has led a total of just five laps to date. The rookie might look tempting from a DFS perspective, but take a hard pass.--Daniel Dobish
