3 years agoSan Diego Padres relief pitcher Daniel Hudson (illness) participated in a bullpen session on Saturday. It marked the first time that the 34-year-old has thrown at Petco Park with his new team since being dealt by the Washington Nationals at the trade deadline. Hudson has been out because of a positive COVID-19 diagnosis and has been isolated to a hotel room across the street from the stadium since his arrival in California on Sunday. The right-hander owns a 2.20 ERA throughout 31 appearances this season, compiling 48 strikeouts and 15 holds.
