3 years agoWashington Nationals pitcher Daniel Hudson (elbow) threw a 21-pitch bullpen session on Monday. He's been sidelined since June 12 with right elbow inflammation. The 34-year-old has completed three bullpen sessions and is expected to begin a rehab assignment soon. Hudson owned a 2.59 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 35 strikeouts across 24 1/3 innings in 2021 before his injury. Barring a setback, he should return right after the All-Star break. Hudson has fantasy appeal in leagues that reward holds and saves and will return to his role as Washington's top setup man in front of closer Brad Hand.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
