Daniel Jones Era Begins In Style
5 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones played the hero on Sunday for the Giants. He completed 23 of 36 passes for 336 yards with two TDs and zero INTs, while also rushing four times for 28 yards and two TDs, including the eventual game winner with 1:20 to play. It’s hard to overstate how much better the Giants looked with Jones under center. He zipped the ball all over the field, but it's his rushing ability that gives the Giants another dimension when compared to human-statue Eli Manning. The secondaries won’t always be as bad as Tampa’s, but Jones needs to be owned in all leagues and can comfortably be started in two-QB leagues with Saquon Barkley out. We should all be ashamed for laughing on draft night. Shame on us.
