Daniel Jones Expected To Be Cleared By Summer
3 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) "absolutely" expects to be fully cleared by the summer. Jones said that he's not limited from lifting weights, running or throwing, and he doesn't have to be worried about contact until August during training camp. The 24-year-old missed the final six games of the year due to his neck injury, but the Giants were being extra cautious with the franchise signal-caller in another lost season. In 11 starts for the G-Men in 2021, Jones went 232-for-361 for 2,428 yards, 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions while adding 62 carries for 298 yards and two scores on the ground. The Giants have plenty of talent around him, but Jones will be a midrange QB2 with upside in fantasy drafts heading into the 2022 season.
