Daniel Jones Fully Cleared
2 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) has been fully cleared for football activities, according to head coach Brian Daboll. Jones played in a career-low 11 games for the G-Men last year because of his neck injury, but the Giants said all along that they weren't concerned with his long-term prognosis. The Giants didn't pick up Jones' fifth-year option this offseason, so he has plenty to prove heading into his fourth NFL season. The 25-year-old former sixth overall pick has shown flashes in his three seasons, but turnover issues and inconsistency have mostly kept him from reaching his ceiling. If Jones is fully healthy in 2022, he could easily bounce back and have his best season with plenty of weapons around him.
