3 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones completed 22-of 32-passes for 249 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions while adding 95 rushing yards and another score on nine attempts in Thursday's 30-29 loss to the Washington Football Team. He put the Giants on the scoreboard with a six-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. The 24-year-old fired a 33-yard touchdown strike to Darius Slayton in the third quarter. Jones and wide receiver Sterling Shepard continue to have a strong rapport as the Giants quarterback targeted the wide receiver 19 times over the first two games. Despite the tough matchups to start the season, Jones has been solid in 2021. The former first-rounder has now thrown for 516 yards with two touchdowns while rushing 122 yards and two scores over both games.
