3 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) is "likely" to miss the team's Week 14 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, according to a source familiar with the situation. With backup Mike Glennon suffering a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins, it could set up Jake Fromm to see his first NFL action after recently being plucked off the Buffalo Bills practice squad. Practice-squad QB Brian Lewerke has also never played in an NFL game. Even with Glennon possibly out in Week 14, the Giants aren't likely to rush Jones back in a lost season, and the team will leave the decision up to the doctors. So it's looking like it'll either be Glennon, if he clears the league's concussion protocol, or Fromm under center against LA next Sunday. It's more bad news for the entire Giants offense moving forward.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
