3 years agoNew York Giants players are telling people that they don't expect quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) to play again this season. The Giants medical staff will take things week-to-week, but Jones has yet to be cleared for contact. Originally, the Giants were optimistic that Jones would play again in 2021, but it's looking like that won't happen now. And with the team not in line to make the playoffs, it doesn't make sense for them to rush him back and jeopardize his long-term health. Fantasy managers that had been using Jones as their No. 2 QB in two-QB leagues shouldn't expect him to return. Mike Glennon made his third start in Week 15 against the Dallas Cowboys, but if he continues to struggle, the Giants could give Jake Fromm his first career start at some point before the end of the regular season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
