Daniel Jones Still Giants Starting Quarterback
3 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is still considered the team's starter. Despite the team recently declining Jones' fifth-year option, general manager Joe Schoen indicated that the signal-caller is still the No. 1 option on the depth chart. The 24-year-old showed promise during his rookie year by finishing with 3,027 yards, 24 touchdowns, more than his previous two seasons combined, and 12 interceptions. However, he has had health issues, including missing six games in 2021-22 because of a neck injury. Nonetheless, the former Blue Devil will likely have one more chance to get his act together, or else he may find himself on a new team at some point moving ahead.
