Daniel Jones Struggles Versus Cardinals, Limps Off Late
4 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones struggled mightily in a loss to the Cardinals on Sunday. Jones lost a fumble on the opening drive and fumbled three times overall. He completed just 11 passes on 21 attempts for just 157 yards with no touchdowns. Jones entered the game with a hamstring injury and was clearly affected as he did not record a rushing attempt despite being sacked six times. He was seen limping off the field late and backup Colt McCoy played on the team's last drive down 16 points late in the fourth quarter. More will be known about the status of Jones's injury this week in practice but it'll be hard to trust the sophomore signal-caller in a tough matchup with Cleveland in Week 15 even if he plays.
