Daniel Jones Tosses Three Interceptions in Week 6 Loss
3 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (concussion) completed 29-of-51 passes for 242 yards, three interceptions, and a two-point conversion while rushing for four yards on three attempts during Sunday's 38-11 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He failed to throw a touchdown pass and threw more than one interception for the first time this season during Sunday's loss. Jones did manage to connect with tight end Kyle Rudolph for a two-point conversion late in the fourth quarter. The 24-year-old was cleared by a neurologist and was officially activated ahead of Sunday's game. Jones was missing key weapons with Saquon Barkley (ankle), Kenny Golladay(knee), and Darius Slayton ruled out. Giants rookie WR Kadarius Toney (ankle) tweaked his ankle early and was ruled out for the rest of the contest. With the lack of offensive weapons, Jones was pressured all day and had his worst game of the year in Week 6. The former first-round pick will look to bounce back and is a low-end QB2 against the Carolina Panthers in Week 7.
