Daniel Jones Under Constant Pressure Versus Cardinals
5 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones was let down by his offensive line on Sunday against the Cardinals. Jones was sacked eight times and hit 12 times on the afternoon. He had no time to throw, and the rainy conditions made it hard to drive the ball deep. The rookie signal-caller finished with 223 yards and a touchdown while being picked off once and losing two fumbles. He added 35 yards on the ground, which provides an interesting rushing floor for fantasy purposes. Jones figures to improve as he gets more reps under his belt and his team gets healthy, but the Giants are not a good team, so he will only be a matchup-dependent start in one quarterback leagues.
