6 years agoChicago Cubs infielder Daniel Murphy will play second base and bat first on Wednesday versus the Tigers. It will be Murphy’s first game with his new team and it comes at a good time as Murphy has been swinging a hot bat and the Cubs have not scored more than one run in five consecutive games. Second baseman Javier Baez will be at shortstop on Wednesday and shortstop Addison Russell will be on the bench.
