7 years agoWashington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy (knee) took batting practice on the field and also practiced fielding. He's still recovering from knee surgery and doesn't quite have a timetable for his return. Late April is an optimistic projection. He's a tremendous hitter when healthy, but the team won't rush him back with so many sluggers pulling the load just fine.
