7 years agoWashington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy (knee) will play full extended spring training games in West Palm Beach, Florida, to test his knee. The Nationals are ramping up his baseball activities after seeing him run intensely in Arizona recently. No timetable has been given for his return yet, however. Murphy is still recovering from microfracture surgery in the offseason and is in the final year of his contract. He may provide a second-half boost to owners who have held onto him this long.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
