Daniel Norris Has Started Light Throwing Activities
6 years agoDetroit Tigers pitcher Daniel Norris (groin) has been on the disabled list since April 30 and had successful groin surgery on May 3. The young lefty is expected to miss eight to 12 weeks as he recovers from surgery, but club sources reported that he's resumed throwing, albeit lightly. There's plenty of talent in Norris, but he's struggled at the big league level and has been plagued by injuries throughout his career. It's hard to project what kind of fantasy value he might have, as his role when he returns is still to be determined.
