4 years agoUpdating a previous report, Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Daniel Norris has tested positive for COVID-19. Norris was recently placed on the 10-day injured list. He seemed optimistic when addressing the situation, stating the following: "I’m healthy and ready to rock as soon as I get some good news." Last season, he went 3-13 with a 4.49 ERA in 32 games. Even though the southpaw is feeling good, it doesn't mean he'll be part of the rotation to begin the season, especially since he's been absent for the first six days of summer camp. The 27-year-old was set to compete for a rotation spot, but that is definitely up in the air now. Norris will be a low-upside arm if he's in the rotation this year in AL-only leagues.--Jakob Ashlin
