6 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Daniel Palka came through in the clutch on Saturday, driving in two runs with a triple in the third inning. Palka, 26, was an unheralded outfield prospect coming into the season, but he has made the most out of his opportunity in 2018. He has posted a .271/.295/.542 slash line in 18 MLB games, hitting three home runs and driving in 13. As long as Nick Delmonico and Avisail Garcia remain on the shelf with injuries for the White Sox, Palka will continue to get opportunities for regular outfield at-bats. He's a potential pickup for fantasy owners in deeper leagues who are dealing with injuries in their outfield.--Phil Goyette
