6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Daniel Poncedeleon was optioned to Triple-A Memphis on Wednesday. Poncedeleon looked inefficient but electric in his start on Tuesday, striking out eight in four innings but racking up 90 pitches in the process. He was pitching in Luke Weaver's spot in the rotation and will likely be back up once rosters expand.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
