7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Daniel Poncedeleon will start on Wednesday against the Pirates. It will allow all the other starters to have an extra day of rest for the upcoming series against the Dodgers. Poncedeleon has a nice 2.67 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 23 K's in 27 innings over nine outings (three starts), but he hasn't gone more than four innings since his first start of the season on July 23. While he may be slightly intriguing in deeper formats, we'd hold out for better options.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
