3 years agoWashington Capitals right-winger Daniel Sprong will not be in the lineup on Sunday afternoon in Carolina. The forward had gone pointless in his previous three games and was a -5 on top of it. If that was not bad enough, Sprong just could not generate anything offensively as he was bumped from the middle-six into the bottom-six (played just 9:21 versus Florida). Maybe a rest will do him some good. Since his two-point effort versus Pittsburgh a couple weeks ago, Sprong has just one point and has largely struggled since going with a shot in San Jose.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
