3 years agoDaniel Suarez and Trackhouse Racing looked quite good on Saturday evening. Suarez qualified fifth just thousandths of a second behind Joey Logano for a top heat spot. The No. 99 car went around the track at a best speed of 64.507 mph. Suarez did run a lot of practice laps (106 in all). It seemed the extra work paid off as his runs did seem to get faster. Again, Suarez will be the second car in Heat 1 on Sunday behind top qualifier Kyle Busch. The small 25-lap run should be great practice for Suarez in preparation for the main event. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
