5 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Daniel Vogelbach launched his 16th home run of the year in Sunday's victory over the Angels. He took Cody Allen deep in the sixth breaking a 12-game homer-less drought. Vogelbach is batting .247 with 37 RBI on the season and is cemented in a full-time role now that Jay Bruce has left town. His play has been streaky this season but has put up big time numbers overall after failing to break camp in March with the big league club. Expect more of the same from the hulking slugger this season as he looks to improve on his breakout campaign.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
