Daniel Vogelbach Hits Grand Slam
2 years agoNew York Mets designated hitter Daniel Vogelbach hit his first home run as a member of the team Wednesday, a towering grand slam off of Washington Nationals relief pitcher Jordan Weems in a 9-5 victory. Vogelbach has been very productive since coming over from the Pirates, slashing .308/.471/.500 in 33 plate appearances. He now has 13 homers, 32 runs scored, and 38 RBI with a .790 OPS in 310 plate appearances this season. He should only play against righties, and that makes him a very solid option in fantasy leagues with daily lineup changes.
