6 years agoLike many Seattle Mariners hitters lately, first baseman Daniel Vogelbach was in a mini-slump over the last week of action. Breaking an 0-for-11 cold snap, the burly left-hander hit a pair of singles and walked three times to put an end to his drought. Vogelbach scored two runs as well on the night, as he's slowly started to come back to earth after smacking five homers in four games earlier this month. He's surprisingly found consistent at-bats as the M's regular designated hitter and is an early-season breakout player with his six home runs and .356 batting average. Vogelbach should continue to find ABs despite a logjam of players and is worth hanging onto in deeper mixed leagues for the power potential.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
