2 years agoNew York Mets designated hitter Daniel Vogelbach isn't in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Atlanta Braves. The slugger struggles against lefties, and Atlanta is deploying southpaw Max Fried for the series finale. Pete Alonso will start in his place. Vogelbach is slashing .270/.379/.535 with 15 homers, 39 RBI, 41 walks, and 66 strikeouts against right-handers in 2022. Presumably, he'll be available off the bench if Atlanta goes to a right-hander out of its bullpen.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
