Danny Amendola Headed For The Motor City
6 years agoThe Detroit Lions and free-agent wide receiver Danny Amendola (Dolphins) agreed to terms on a one-year contract with a guaranteed base of $4.5 million, according to a source. The deal is incentive-laden, and could be worth as much as $5.75 million, based likely on health and production. The 33-year-old receiver lands with his fourth NFL organization. He posted just 59 grabs for 575 yards and a touchdown in 15 games with the Dolphins last season, and his 9.7 yards per catch were his worst since 2014 in New England. He is still worth a look as a WR4 or WR5 in PPR fantasy leagues with 12 or more teams.
