Danny Amendola Remains Without TD Catch Entering Week 14
4 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Danny Amendola should once again benefit from the absence of Kenny Golladay (hip) on Sunday against the Packers, but he remains a tenuous fantasy option. The five targets that Amendola saw last week were the second-most that he has received since Week 2, and he is yet to find the end zone in 2020 as a receiver, displaying how infrequent of a target he is near the red zone. To make matters worse, the Packers Defense has limited opposing wide receivers to the third-fewest receiving yards in 2020. In non-PPR season-long formats, the vast majority of fantasy managers can avoid Amendola, but there is certainly a case to be made for the veteran in last-ditch scenarios. While he only hauled in two catches versus Green Bay earlier this year, he was targeted seven times, tying for the second-most balls he has seen come his way in '20.
