4 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Danny Duffy (elbow) has been placed on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to May 14. This came basically out of nowhere, but Duffy was slumping after two straight below average starts. Duffy has a 1.94 ERA and 48/12 K/BB this season, so fantasy managers should hold him in all fantasy formats. The team hasn't announced who will replace him in the rotation. This is certainly a big blow to the Royals and the team is calling it a left flexor strain. Hopefully, Duffy is only going to miss one start at maximum.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
