7 years agoAs expected, Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost confirmed on Wednesday that starting pitcher Danny Duffy (shoulder) is done for the rest of the season after suffering another left shoulder impingement during his start on Tuesday. He cannot have another anti-inflammatory shot this soon after his last injury. Even with Duffy out, Yost said he may stick with a six-man rotation and give either Erik Skoglund or Glenn Sparkman some starts. The left-handed Duffy can now be dropped in all formats after a disappointing season that saw him go 8-12 with a 4.88 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 141 K's in 155 innings across 28 starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
